How can Webline help you...
for FREE!

In January 2005 Webline became the first UK portal to offer real time annuity comparisons.

Great news for annuity specialists, you can perform both a ‘quick quote’ (using a generic fund value) as well as a fully compliant “annuity quote” where the source funds are identified to ensure the correct rules are applied.

This exclusive functionality also allows you to model many scenarios at a time by specifying widow’s benefit, escalation and guaranteed period up-front. The system requests multiple quotes from each provider and displays the results on one interactive report.

Webline customers are able to obtain comparative quotes from major providers in just a few seconds for:

  • Level term
  • Mortgage protection
  • Family income benefit
  • Convertible term
  • Whole of life
  • Income protection
  • Accident, sickness and unemployment insurance
  • Buildings & contents
  • Hybrid bonds
  • With profit bonds
  • Investment bonds
  • Distribution bonds
  • Pensions· Annuities
  • Traded endowment policies valuations (not real time)

Key features

  • View key features / facts and personalized illustrations
  • Submit applications electronically (usually with increased commission)
  • Track all historic quotes and electronic new business applications from a single window)

Webline is committed to providing innovative technology solutions to help intermediaries better manage their business.

There is no additional cost for using this annuity functionality.

If you hold a Client Care Desktop or Synaptic Research license you qualify for a Webline account 100% free of charge! Contact us on 01279 756 080 to enquire about this great offer!

Don’t lose your clients to the insurer!

With the news that one of the biggest companies in the insurance market is including a clause into their agency contracts stating that they will directly market to clients who they feel have been “orphaned” by their IFA, now is the time to use CCD to target market your clients and make sure you keep your clientele. Their definition of ‘orphaned’ however seems to be rather wide, including clients who may have contacted the Insurer directly.

This and other incidents makes it seem likely that Providers will increasingly look on policyholders as their clients rather than yours and it is therefore more vital than ever that you maintain contact with your clients, to ensure that they appreciate and value your independence and knowledge.

However, it must be recognised that not all clients are equal and determining the appropriate level of service to a client and delivering that service in a cost-effective manner is vital in ensuring that you protect your client bank, without increasing your cost base.

CCD allows you to quickly segment your clients, based on a range of categories and communicate with them quickly and efficiently. An example of this would be creating a communication to all clients of the aforementioned Provider, to ensure they appreciate the true value of your services.
